Powerhouse Vocalist
Sensual Singing Sensation Nora Cruz has been performing her entire life. Nora Cruz attributes her Powerhouse vocals to her Texan mother Delia who sang to Nora often as a child. Nora's versatility in range and style is attributed to lead roles in several musicals, solo and duo vocal State competitions and church choir. Nora won a scholarship to the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee Wisconsin where she studied Opera performance. From Spanish, Italian and German, Nora can transform any language into a universal song that strikes a chord with all generations with an immense depth.
Nora's exceptional ability to grasp and connect to your core is a unique and mesmerizing experience. Her intense ability to reach down into her own life experiences and take you along on a vast journey strikes a chord with all generations with an immense depth. Her artistic influences range from a diverse style of artists such as Sarah Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, Ruth Brown, Etta James, Ann Peebles, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and the energy and stage presence of Buddy Guy.
One show stopping feature of Nora Cruz is her majestic energy to be an entertainer from start to finish. This reputation is missing from so many performers today, to not only be a performer but an entertainer as well. Her ability to transform her shows to meet eclectic styles of each establishment has noted her as a chameleon performer. Genres of traditional blues to jump blues; from sultry jazz ballads to soul; from swing to boogie and back again; this is an undeniably unique experience that will keep you wanting more and more and some more a Nora
"Nora Cruz is one of the strongest and wide-ranging voices I've heard yet. Nora can whisper, dare, flirt and shout!"
